Cemetery Lantern Tour

The Friends of Center Cemetery will hold their Cemetery Lantern Tour on Oct. 1 at 6:30 p.m. at 944 Main St. in East Hartford. Spirits visiting this night will be a famous privateer, a grave digger, the gossip of the Irish ladies from the north part of town and the sad tale of how widow Flint lost her entire family during the great war, to say nothing of having our own "last of the Gypsies" and more. At Hartford's second oldest burying place, history will be combined with fun. Parking is available behind the Save A Lot store. Refreshments, a palm reader, tarot card reader and a stone cutter will be part of the activities.
