Windsor - posted Nov, 08 2011

The reception for the Fall Art Exhibit by the Windsor Palette & Brush Club has been re-scheduled to Nov. 13. The public is invited to enjoy an afternoon viewing 70 works of art by 30 local artists and visiting with the artists from 2 to 4 p.m. in the Town Council Chambers. Refreshments will be provided by members of the Windsor Palette & Brush Club.  Many of the art works will be for sale, including oils, watercolors, pastel, mixed media, stained glass, collage, drawings, and photography. The show will continue through Dec. 1, and it can be viewed anytime during Town Hall hours,  Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., or whenever there is an evening meeting. The Windsor Palette and Brush Club is sponsored by the Town of Windsor’s Department of Recreation and Leisure Services, and it holds monthly meetings with art demonstrations on the second Tuesday of every month from September through May, except for December and February.
