Pre-holiday auction

Tickets are now available for the Windsor Historical Society’s Pre-Holiday Auction being held on Nov. 18 from 6 to 9 p.m. at Central Street Antiques, 25 Central St. in Windsor’s town center. Tickets are $25 for hors d’oeuvres, and two drinks (wine, coffee, sodas). Tickets may be purchased at: Ashley’s Distinctive Jewelry and Gifts, 555 Day Hill Road; Bill Selig Jewelers, Inc. 161 Broad St.; Jordan Florist, 10 Palisado Ave.; Windsor Historical Society, 96 Palisado Ave.; and at the door on the night of the event. The auction will support the many public programs offered by the society for schoolchildren and adults in the Windsor area, and for the operation of its historic houses, research library, exhibition galleries and family learning center.
