Winter Solstice Celebration

A Winter Solstice Celebration will take place on Dec. 21 at 7:30 p.m. at the CT Audubon Society Center, 1361 Main St. in Glastonbury. Visit www.ctaudubon.org for more information. Welcome in the beginning of winter and the longest night of the year with songs, dance, stories, music and a bonfire. Learn about the traditions used to celebrate this special event with Kasha Breau and Dave Magee. Enjoy a light snack, $5 CAS members, $8 non-members, $3 children under 10 years of age. Call 860-633-8402 to pre-register and pay. Walk-ins will be welcome.
