Bricks installed

HEBRON- The Friends of Hebron Parks, Inc. (FOHP) has announced that the bricks purchased in the first phase of their “Buy A Brick” Fundraising Campaign have been installed. The bricks purchased were used as a border along the front side (southwest) of the Pavilion at Burnt Hill Park. A special thanks goes out to the Rich Calarco, Director of Parks and Recreation, and his staff for the installation of the bricks. Through this campaign FOHP raised over $3,500. All proceeds raised from brick purchases will be used by FOHP to purchase amenities for the parks that are not currently funded by the town. FOHP is planning a “Ribbon Cutting Ceremony” during the Maple Festival, the weekend of March 10 and 11. This ceremony is to thank all those that purchased a brick and supported FOHP. The FOHP is looking for volunteers to serve in a variety of capacities, including: special events; fundraising efforts; and board membership. If you are interested in learning more about the FOHP, please contact Dawn Salan at dmsalan@comcast.net.
