Seeking proposals for youth programs

NORWICH- The Community Foundation of Eastern Connecticut is seeking proposals from nonprofits, schools*, libraries and other organizations that provide youth development programs and services for economically and socially disadvantaged Norwich youth, with a priority preference for Norwich-based organizations The Community Foundation is able to offer this grant opportunity due to generous gifts of Grace AND Lewis Sears and Jeannette Frisbie, whose generous legacy will benefit Norwich youth for years to come. Grant awards will be considered in any amount up to $10,000. Recipients will be announced in early April. Please note that only one application will be accepted from each individual school in the Norwich school system. A principal's signature will be required on the application.
