Child identification

SALEM- The Salem School District is responsible for the location, evaluation and identification of any child with a disability who resides in Salem. The Salem School District will provide screening, and if necessary, a diagnostic evaluation to determine if a child is in need of special education services. A variety of public and private service providers offer programs for children from birth to age three. Salem School provides programs and services for Salem children with disabilities from age 3 to 21 years.
