Music awards

COVENTRY- Congratulations to the 10 students from the Capt. Nathan Hale School (CNH) who were selected to perform in the annual Connecticut Music Educators Association Eastern Region Middle School Honors Festival on March 2 and 3 at the Timothy Edwards Middle School in South Windsor. Student musicians from 44 different middle schools were represented at this prestigious event. The CNH students selected to participate in the Mixed Choir were Haley Jacobs, Megan Thomas and Luke Smart. The CNH students selected to participate in the Concert Band were Sydonie Merrell, Anthony Tata, Ellie Tripp, Grace Landry, Ashleigh Klambt, Eirynn Sheades and Curtis Banavige. All are to be commended for the outstanding performances they gave on some very challenging music for this age level.
