On April 16, the Vernon Garden Club will present a special program, "Table Scapes for Spring," featuring Laurie Lemek, formerly of Lemek’s Florists, Tolland, Conn. She is now associated with the Delaware Valley Floral Design Group. She is a member of the American Institute of Floral Design and has been a featured designer for weddings and events all over the country, including the White House. Lemek will bring her creative talents and enthusiasm to her presentation as she creates beautiful seasonal arrangements with a spring theme. The arrangements will be auctioned off at the end of the program. The program will begin at 7 p.m. at the Rockville United Methodist Church, 142 Grove St. Refreshments and a business meeting will follow. Members of the public are welcome to attend.
