Flag sale

The Windsor Locks American Legion Post 36 will undertake its annual flag sale to promote the display of the national banner in the community. The flag campaign will continue through July 4. The replacement flags can be of cotton or nylon in various sizes from 3x5 to 8x12. Most flags are on hand and flag orders will be taken by the Edward Sabotka, 860-623-5704, and Cliff Church at 860-623-6823. The Post will conduct a Flag Disposal ceremony on June 14. Any resident who wishes the Post to retire their unserviceable flags may leave them at Memorial Hall in the container provided for that purpose.
