St. Bernard Church will hold its annual parish carnival on the grounds of the church, 424 Hazard Ave., from May 31 through June 2. The fair will run from 6 to 10 p.m. each day, and admission is free. Wristbands will be on sale every evening for $20 each, entitling the purchaser to unlimited access to the fairground's rides throughout the evening. There also will be individual ride tickets. Food and games will be available. In addition, there will be a breakfast in the church's Fitzmaurice Hall on June 3, following the 10:30 a.m. Mass. The winning tickets to the parish's annual raffle will be drawn at the breakfast. Raffle tickets may be purchased from parish families or at the rectory, as well as at the carnival itself. There also will be musical offerings throughout the carnival. For more information, call the church rectory at 860-749-8353.
