MANSFIELD- Changes are being made to the circulation policies at Mansfield Public Library. In order to conform with Bibliomation policies, the library will be changing loan and renewal periods effective Monday, July 2, 2012. These changes are as follows: All new DVDs, (all types): 7 days, no renewals; Older DVDs and video cassettes, Feature films: 7 days, no renewals; Multi-Disk Sets and Nonfiction: 14 days, 1 renewal; New books and audiobooks, 14 days, 1 renewal; older magazines and audiobooks, 21 days, 1 renewal; Magazines, 14 days, 1 renewal. Bibliomation is the consortium or group of 60 libraries throughout the state of Connecticut which all use the same computer systems and share their catalogues, making interlibrary loan much faster and easier. reQuest is best! You will now be able to use the reQuest interlibrary loan service to request books that can’t be found in the libraries in the Bibliomation consortium. Go to www.iconn.org to find books, movies, music, newspaper and magazine articles, reference books, images and more. iCONN is the statewide library catalog. It offers much more than just interlibrary loan, too, so be sure to check it out!
