Dress workshop

Wesley Memorial UMC will hold a workshop to produce the "Little Dresses for Africa" that are simple garments made from pillowcases. Everyone is welcome to join in this effort on Aug. 11 at 11:30 a.m. No special talent is needed; help is needed measuring, cutting, sewing and more. There is a need for these dresses. Those interested in learning how to make them as a program for an organization may come and learn or just come and help. The event will take place at 110 Ellington Road, Route 5 in East Hartford.
