Creative Writing Workshop
Manchester - posted Jul, 24 2012
The writing workshop is for both beginners and experienced writers. The group will meet for 10 weeks to build a supportive writing community through writing together and fun exercises. Read work to each other, if you choose, and respond to each other's work. Manuscript critique will also be available for those who desire it. The workshop leader will be Rhett Watts. She is an Amherst Writers and Artists (AWA) affiliate and is certified to lead workshops with the AWA Method as described in the book "Writing Alone and with Others." She has an MFA in Writing from Vermont College of Fine Arts. Her work has appeared in the books "Knitting into the Mystery" and "Best Spiritual Writing 2000," as well as in Yankee Magazine and many other journals. A Tuesday evening session will start on Sept. 11. A daytime workshop will also begin in early September. To register or for more information call 860-646-2145 or e-mail rhettawatts@gmail.com.
