Car and motorcycle show

East Granby Fire Department will host its annual breast cancer awareness event which features a car, motorcycle and antique fire apparatus show. This event will also be sponsoring the motorcycle ride for Bikers For The Cure. All proceeds will benefit The Connecticut Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure. The event will be held on Oct. 14 at Hartford Springfield Auction Co-op located at 49 Russell Road, East Granby. Registration starts at 10 a.m. The show entrance opens at noon. The show will run concurrently with the motorcycle ride at 12:30 p.m. for a 90-minute ride through Granby, Barkhamsted, New Hartford area. Riders will return to the starting point. The motorcycle riders will have time to enter their motorcycle into the show, if they choose. Show judging starts at 3 p.m. and will conclude by 4 p.m. with trophies for entries.
