Pet food drive

On July 28 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., The Friends of Windsor Animal Care & Control will celebrate their pet food pantry's first anniversary by conducting a pet food drive at Stop & Shop in Windsor. In addition to a pet food drive, there will be face painting, raffle prizes from several Windsor business and a cookout. Windsor's animal control officer, Brian Davis will be there from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and Simbury's animal control officer, wildlife expert Mark Rudewicz, will be there from 1 to 3 p.m. Both will be available to answer questions.
