Art showing

Marlborough - posted Aug, 17 2012

The Marlborough Arts Center will sponsor art exhibits at Town Hall in Marlborough throughout the year. Each exhibit in the Town Hall Gallery is coordinated by member/artist Carole Jeffries, with a new artist highlighted every two months. Rob Bavier from Tolland is the artist showing from Sept. 4 through Oct. 31. He paints in acrylic now, but has been largely a watercolorist whose love of the sea is reflected in much of his work. The Marlborough Arts Center is located at 231 North Main St., Marlborough and is a non-profit regional center for the fine arts, performing arts, and fine crafts. The Annual Members' Art Show will open the season there with an artists' reception on Sept. 14. For details and more information visit marlborougharts.org or call 860-295-9389.
