Benefit walk for basketball player

The University of Hartford women's basketball family is coming together to support former player Amanda Weaver (Class of 2011) in her fight against Colon Cancer. The “Walk for Weaver” will be held Sept. 8 at the University of Hartford's Reich Family Pavilion. Registration starts at 9 a.m., with the walk beginning at 10 a.m. Participate by registering to walk individually or with a team. The cost is $10 per-person or walkers can be sponsored.
