Construction work on library

Visitors to the Rockville Public Library, 52 Union Street in Vernon, will note some changes as they come up the library driveway. Construction work on our new addition has begun, and the back parking lot has been closed to accommodate the construction equipment and material. The driveway now turns to the right and leads visitors up a slight hill to our new, and much larger, parking lot opposite the library’s side entrance. We are making arrangements for handicapped parking. In the meantime, those who have mobility challenges may want to visit the library with a companion who can assist.
