Girls and dolls at the mall

On Sept. 29 from 1 to 3 p.m., the Colchester Federated Church will be transformed into a mall for “A Day at the Mall for Girls and their Dolls!” Start at the mall information desk to decorate a shopping bag. Continue on to six other stores to craft keepsakes and snack in the food court. Additional baked goods, coffee and tea will be available for sale. Purchase a frequent shopper admission card for $10 per child to entitle them to one visit/activity per store. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Stop by the boutique to find items for sale for girls and their dolls and purchase a chance to win the 2012 American Girl Doll of the Year. Raffle tickets are $5 each. All proceeds will benefit CFC’s Christian Education programs. A limited number of shopper cards will be available at the door the day of the event.
