REGION - Hands That Heal motorcycle run fundraiser to benefit low-income families, senior citizens and homeless pet owners with low-cost veterinary care and free pet food will take place Aug. 26. Registration begins at 10 a.m. at the Watchemoket Tavern, 31 Warren Ave., East Providence, R.I. Kick off will be at noon. The donation is $20 per person and includes full breakfast. Halfway stop will be at Sticks Tavern, Route 44, Chepachet, R.I. and the run will end at The Bach Dor Café, 9 Willimantic Road, Chaplin, Conn.
