On Aug. 27, Friends of Ellington Tennis will hold a trip to see the first day of play at the U.S. Open in Flushing Meadows, N.Y. The trip departs from Ellington at 8:30 a.m. and returns at 8:30 p.m. The trip cost is $95 per person and includes the round trip bus transportation, an admission ticket and a tour of the facilities provided by USTA staff.
