Art center uried show

VERNON- The Vernon Community Arts Center proudly presents three solo exhibitions featuring award winning artists from its first Open Juried Show. Gallery one features “Wonderland Circus” by best in show winner Jennifer Wheeler, gallery two features “War of the Worlds” from first place winner-Kelly Burgess and second place winner, Aniko Enderle features “Ephemeral” in gallery three. The collections will include watercolor and oils, along with photography. Winners were juried by esteemed judges Patricia Hickson- Curator for Contemporary Arts at the Wadsworth Antheneum, along with International Artists-Christopher Mir and Joseph Fucigna. An artist reception will be held on Sunday Sept. 9 from 1-4 p.m. Door donations are always welcomed. Exhibition runs Sunday Sept. 2 through Sunday Sept. 30. The VCAC is located at 709 Hartford Turnpike in Vernon.
