NORWICH- United Community & Family Services (UCFS) is pleased to announce the award by the Department of Children and Families to provide the Foster Care Clinic Program for children served by the Norwich DCF office. The Foster Care Clinic, which UCFS has offered for over ten years, provides multi - disciplinary (medical, dental, developmental) evaluation of children who are entering foster care for the first time. This comprehensive evaluation provides concrete recommendations to DCF, foster parents, the family of origin, educators and pediatricians about the services the child and family need to be successful and reunited as a family.
