PUTNAM- “St. Mary Parish “Circle of Fun” is coming to Putnam for the 41st year. Located at the corner of Providence and Marshall Streets, ample free parking is provided in the school yard for the three day event, Sept.14, 15 and 16. Included in the festivities are a BIG Flea Market which will be held Friday, Saturday and Sunday with an early bird special planned for Thursday, September 13. Entertainment includes “One Shot Deal” Friday night, Quest Martial Arts and “Synergy” Saturday, Gary O (WINY) and Paige and Ness Sunday. Great food and beverages for everyone, game booths, Bingo and rides for all ages (bracelet discounts will be announced), the “Circle of Fun” moon bounce and ball pit, a bake sale, basket drawings and culminating on Sept. 16 at 6 p.m. with the drawing for the Grand Prize tickets. St. Mary Parish “Circle of Fun” is a fund raising event for St. Mary Parish. It has brought together residents of Putnam and surrounding communities for the past 40 years and has entertained generations of families. Scrapbooks with pictures of all 40 years are displayed and those attending can find pictures of great grandparents, grandparents, parents or a much younger version of themselves in past years. There is no admission charge to the grounds for this event, held regardless of the weather although sunshine and warmth are on order.
