Weight loss open house, food drive

Weight Watchers will host a Lose For Good® open house event on Sept. 15 from 1 to 4 p.m. at their locations in South Windsor, 1735 Ellington Road in the Stop and Shop Plaza and in Vernon, 35 Talcottville Road in Tri City Plaza. This event will include one-day-only offers, prizes, refreshments, recipes, fitness demonstrations and more. Find out more about Weight Watchers. The open house will feature a food drive to benefit Manchester Area Conference of Churches and Hockanum Valley Community Council food pantries, so bring a non-perishable item to donate.
