'Spooktacular 5K'

On Oct. 27, the National MS Society, Connecticut Chapter, will host Run MS, a Spooktacular 5K, at Rentschler Field in East Hartford. Since the event falls on the weekend before Halloween, costumes are encouraged. The Halloween-themed 5K will feature a DJ, trick-or-treating at all booths and vendors, official timing and scoring and cash prizes for winners, and more. All proceeds from Run MS, a Spooktacular 5K, will assist those in Connecticut who live with multiple sclerosis in their quest for a cure. Registration fees are $30 on Oct. 1 and day-of registration will be $35. Additional fundraising is encouraged.
