Delayed opening procedure

COLCHESTER- Beginning with the 2012-2013 school year, Colchester Public Schools will have a 2-hour delayed opening in the event of inclement weather. The additional 30 minutes will allow the highway department, town crews, and contractor more time to safely clear roads, school sidewalks, and school parking lots during inclement weather. As a result of this change delayed opening time are as follows: Colchester Elementary School, including full day Kindergarten, and Jack Jackter Intermediate School will open at 10:35 a.m. William J.
