COLCHESTER- Colchester Parks & Recreation is accepting registrations for the ski/boarding club for Bacon Academy students. A four-week package is planned to Ski Sundown located in New Hartford. Lift tickets are valid for 4 visits for 4 hours. Coach busses will depart the Bacon Academy parking lot at 2:30 p.m. on the following Fridays: January 4, 11, 18 and 25. Approximate return to Bacon Academy will be 9:30 p.m. Adult chaperones are needed, please contact Parks & Recreation for details at 860-537-7297 or contact recreation supervisor Anita Pizzutiello at Lift ticket only $219, Lift ticket & lesson $263, rentals $additional $96. All information and forms are available at the Parks and Recreation department located in the Town Hall and in the Main Office at Bacon Academy. IMPORTANT INFORMATION: All participants will be required to wear helmets. Equipment rental and lessons are available. Deadline to register is Friday, Nov. 9 at 4 p.m. Please contact Parks and Recreation with any questions you may have. If you can meet us at the mountain, that’s fine! If you ski, great you can ski, if you prefer to stay warm in the ski lodge, that’s fine too!! If you can meet us at Bacon at 2:15 p.m., even better! If you do ski, you will receive a voucher for the lift to enjoy on our dates.
