The Hicks Museum, on the Tolland Green, is hosting a Victorian tea for adults on Nov. 4 at 2 p.m. featuring multi - course fare, catered by Monet's Catering, such as a petite chicken and apple crepe with a pumpkin creme with spiced walnuts. Tables are arranged in the elegant rooms of the museum ranging from the tower to the formal parlour. No allergies. Reservations and a non-refundable prepayment of $22 per person are required. In addition, the museum is hosting a mother/daughter tea on Nov. 3 from 2 to 3:30 p.m. Mothers, grandmothers, aunts and daughters, ages 6 to 11, are invited to a special tea. China cups and plates decorate the tables set in many charming rooms. There will be savories suitable for a child-friendly palate. Victorian costumed servers will serve. Wear your fancy outfit.
