MOODUS- On Oct. 27, the Moodus United Methodist church is holding a food drive for the East Haddam Food Bank. The church will be collecting non-perishable items in the parking lot of the Grist Mill Market (look for the truck!). With your donation, and that of others, we will be able to help the folks in our community. The food bank presently serves 250-300 members of our community. The most needed donations are canned meats, canned meals (ex. stew, chili, kid pasta), cereal, condiments, fruit juices, coffee/tea, baking staples (sugars, flour, puddings etc.), canned fruits and vegetables, pasta and sauce, soups, rice dishes, peanut butter and jelly, cookies and crackers, and canned fish.
