WOODSTOCK- Christmas on the Hill is a delightful day of extravagant hospitality offered by the Women’s Fellowship of the First Congregational Church of Woodstock, United Church of Christ. This event takes place in and around the church at 549 RT. 169, Woodstock, From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 17, you are invited to shop, taste, and meet and greet friends, new and old in a holiday atmosphere. This is an outstanding “Fair” and is the main money raising event for the church’s Women’s Fellowship. Situated “always the Saturday before Thanksgiving”, allows visitors to shop not only for Christmas gifts, but to buy pies, cookies, breads and decorations for the Thanksgiving table. The luncheon is a highlight, featuring homemade chicken pot pie, serving from 11 a.m. and including sandwiches, soups and desserts. Take-out orders are also available. Rada knives, jewelry, SERRV items, Hand Made in the Quiet Corner creations, fresh wreaths and porch boxes, Crabtree, a silent auction and penny social are only a few of the booths that will be filled for your shopping pleasure.
