MARLBOROUGH- Sponsored by the Marlborough Arts Center, the well-known artist, Robert A. LaMay, will be exhibiting his "The Seasons of Trains" photographs at the Marlborough Town Hall Gallery at 26 North Main Street in Marlborough during the entire months of November and December. This photo display of railroad-related subjects show a common theme: the four seasons. All of the photos on display will represent each of the four seasons, all weather conditions, both day and night. Since trains move and operate 24/7, no matter what, in viewing this collection one gets the sense of the trains' journeys from a train's perspective. LaMay is also an accomplished author, having published a coffee table book entitled "Diesels to Park Avenue - The FKL9 Story", an all-color photography book, as well as numerous articles in various national railroad magazines. Currently he is the editor of the Ghost Train Journal, a monthly newsletter for the Connecticut Eastern Railroad Museum located in Willimantic. Robert A. May and his wife live in the Amston section of Hebron and, although retired, he still enjoys photographing trains whenever possible. The Marlborough Arts Center is a regional non-profit center for the fine arts, performing arts, and fine crafts located at 231 North Main Street, Marlborough, (website www.marlborougharts.org) or call 860-295-9389.
