Silent auction

EAST HADDAM- Friends of the East Haddam Free Public Library are holding their Annual Double Auction. The event  began on Friday, Oct. 5 and runs through Thursday, Nov. 15. Be the highest bidder in the silent auction (100 gallons of heating oil or Goodspeed tickets) or buy tickets in the Chance Auction to win in the prize drawings for gift certificates, a quilt, jewelry, pet products and many others. All proceeds will be used to support library programs and buy new books.     Stop in during library hours: Monday and Wednesday 10 a.m.-8 p.m., Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday noon to 6 p.m., and Saturday 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
