Preschool screenings
Windsor - posted Nov, 02 2012
Windsor residents who have questions or concerns regarding the development of their pre-schooler can sign up their child for a free screening. Oliver Ellsworth Primary School will offer screenings to assess the developmental skills of any 3- and 4-year-olds in Windsor. The screening will include speech, vision, physical motor-skills and other areas of development. Children will participate in an informal play session held at Oliver Ellsworth Primary School at 730 Kennedy Road in Windsor. During the screening process, a team of early childhood professionals will observe and provide parents or caregivers with feedback regarding their child’s development. The purpose of these screenings is to help identify and refer all young children and their families who may be in need of early intervention support or preschool special education services. Appointments should be made by calling Cassie Rogers at 860-687-2070.
