DANIELSON- Jimmy's Kids Foundation 15th Charity Walk will be held at Davis Park, Danielson, to benefit the Tommy Toy Fund, and the Friends of Assisi Food Pantry, Danielson. We will be collecting toys, turkeys and trimmings as well as checks, on Sunday, Nov. 18, from 10 a.m. –– 3 p.m. Join Jim Phaiah and designated Honorary Walk Leader the Quintal Insurance Agencyof Central Village at Davis Park to thank them for once again pledging their Toy Collection Drive to the Tommy Toy Fund! In years past, they have collected thousands of dollars in toys and have helped put smiles on the faces of many children and families on Christmas Morning! Donate at Davis Park and be eligible for a drawing to receive for various signed “Sports Memorabilia” such as signed autographed and framed photos of NBA Great Shaquille O’Neal, former Celtic Nate “Tiny” Archibald, former RedSox Pitcher Manny Delcarmen, UConn Coach Geno Auriemma, as well as a hand drawn framed picture of “Clifford the Big Red Dog” signed by creator Norm Bridwell. Donors to one charity will receive one chance in the Memorabilia drawing, and donors to both charities will receive three chances to win! The drawing will take place at the conclusion of Sunday’s collection walk, and winning numbers will be posted for one week at the Friends of Assisi, 77 Water St., Danielson and/or call Jim Phaiah, child abuse survivor and Founder of JIMMY’S KIDS FOUNDATION at 860-774-1720 or email for any information.
