CPR and First Aid class

HEBRON – The RHAM Education Foundation will be holding an American Heart Association Heartsaver First Aid with CPR/AED course this fall for residents of Hebron, Andover, and Marlborough. The American Heart Association’s Heartsaver First Aid with CPR/AED course provides training in recognizing life threatening emergencies and the treatment that can be given until help arrives. It covers CPR for adults, children, and infants as well as the use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) to treat victims of sudden cardiac arrest. The course is designed for parents, babysitters, coaches, athletes, and anyone that wants to learn to save a life. The course will be delivered by Code One Training Solutions, a locally owned small business that trains over 3,000 people in lifesaving care each year. The cost to learn CPR and how to use an AED is $25/person and includes a pocket mask. Participants can also take First Aid for an additional $25. The cost of the course is being supplemented by the RHAM Education Foundation and Code One Training Solutions, LLC for a savings of $20/person. The classes will be held at RHAM High School on Saturday, Nov. 17.
