Art contest winners

POMFRET- Pomfret Republican Town Committee teamed up with Silver Circle Gallery of Putnam and created an Art Contest for part of Pomfret’s 300th Celebration. Winning entries will be used for a Pomfret anniversary calendar. The art pieces will also be on a rotating display throughout Pomfret over the next six months. An art show reception was held recently at the Old Town House in Pomfret. There were more than 100 people in attendance. All winners were presented with prizes from Silver Circle Gallery. The art pieces were on display, refreshments and lively discussions were shared by all. The following submissions were chosen to be part of the anniversary calendar that the Pomfret RTC is creating and will begin selling in December.
