Cub Scout Pack 241 has been honoring Glastonbury heritage for 22 years by introducing 100 percent pewter ornaments that are made in Connecticut. Each year features a different Glastonbury theme. As the pack's only fundraiser, all proceeds support Pack 241 Cub Scouts activities such as camping, hiking, its annual food drive and Pinewood Derby events. This year's ornament will feature, “The Fountain Green” in honor of David Cox who designed the fountain and passed away suddenly last year. Anyone interested in supporting the Scouts can order ornaments by visiting www.pack241.org/ or e-mailing firstname.lastname@example.org. In addition, the Scouts will sell the ornaments at Katz Hardware from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Dec. 1. All 22 years of ornaments will be available for purchase.
