Poinsettia sale

The East Hartford Lions Club will hold its annual holiday poinsettia sale from Dec. 5 through 8. Poinsettia plants in assorted colors will be sold for $10 each with all proceeds used to support the charitable projects of the East Hartford Lions Club. The poinsettias will be sold at the American Eagle Federal Credit Union at 417 Main St. from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Dec. 5 through 7. Eastwood Wine and Liquor at 1026 Main St. will sell the flowers from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on those same days. The plants will also be available for purchase at the East Hartford Town Hall, 740 Main St. on Dec.6 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. As part of East Hartford’s 20th Annual Holiday Fest, the poinsettias will also be available at the Raymond Library, 840 Main St. on Dec. 8 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Anyone interested in more information about the Lions should contact East Hartford Lions Club membership chair Eileen Driscoll at 860-568-7305.
