Trolley winterfest

The Connecticut Trolley Museum presents Winterfest 2012 and “The Tunnel of Lights” from 5 to 9 p.m. Nov. 30, Dec. 1-2, 7-9, 14-16, 21-23. Santa will be there giving each child a gift. The event also will be held Dec. 26-30 from 6 to 9 p.m. Come for a trolley ride during the holiday season, in a closed car or in the open “electric sleigh.” Join your motorman in singing traditional Christmas carols as the trolley makes its way under hundreds of lights overhead. Upon returning to the Visitors Center, enjoy a cup of hot cocoa while you listen to the nightly entertainment and walk around to admire all the model trains and displays. Admission is: adults $10; seniors age 62 and older $8; youth ages 2-12 $6; $3 for children under age 2. Group rates are available.
