Carols for Christmas

Family Academy of Music will present “Carols for Christmas from America and Britain” on Dec. 9 at 3 p.m. at the Westford Congregational Church, Westford Hill Road in Ashford. The concert will also be presented on Dec. 15 at 7:30 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church in Stafford Springs. LadySong and Treble Troubadours will present many Christmas Carols, familiar and new to the audience. Susan Leavitt, director, has been presenting choral concerts for more than 40 years in the Stafford area. The children’s chorus, Treble Troubadours, will sing while accompanying themselves on xylophones and a variety of other instruments. LadySong will be accompanied by Anne Caluori on piano and joined by Treble Troubadours for several of the carols. There is no admission charge. There will be a free will offering for the Jeff Braun Foundation which supports an orphanage in El Progreso, Honduras.
