Skating rink

The Savage/Johnson Rink at the Loomis Chaffee School will be open on Sunday afternoons through Feb. 24 for hockey and skating during the school’s winter term. The facility will be open to the residents of Windsor, Loomis Chaffee alumni, and members of the Loomis Chaffee community and their families. The rink will be closed Dec. 23 and 30. The hours for skating are 1:15 - 2:15 p.m. open hockey (helmets and facemasks required) and 2:15 - 3:15 p.m. open skating (no pucks or sticks on the ice). Visitors must bring their own skates and other equipment, and there is no charge. The Savage/ Johnson Rink is located on the school campus off Broad Street, Route 159, on Island Road in Windsor.
