Toy drive

The Manchester Young Democrats are collecting toys for children whose families are clients of Interval House East, a non-profit agency dedicated to breaking the cycle of family and intimate-partner abuse. Toys may be brought to the Law Offices of Barlow & Murphy, 172 East Center St., Manchester, through Dec. 18, when, from 5 to 6:30 p.m., representatives from Interval House will come to sort and transport the toys. Donors are welcome to stop by during this time and enjoy the display of toys, and are asked to bring new, unwrapped, gifts and non-violent toys for infants through teens. Donations can include books, games, sports equipment, backpacks, movie passes, stuffed animals, crafts, and dolls. Gifts will be distributed to Manchester families affected by domestic violence through Interval House East. For more information call the law office at 860-646-4081.
