Toys for Tikes

The Vernon Volunteer Firefighters Association is seeking contributions of new toys and financial donations for their annual Toys for Tikes drive. Each Christmas the firefighters distribute these toys to the community’s less fortunate children. New, unwrapped toys can be dropped off at any of the following locations: Animal City – 35 Talcottville Road; Court House Plus - 47 Hartford Tpke.; Crystal Blueprint – West Main Street; Fancy Feet Pet Grooming – 593 Talcottville Road; First Niagara Bank – 348 Hartford Tpke.; Jumpin’ Jonnies – 234 Talcottville Road; Larry’s Sales/Repair – 260 Talcottville Road; Rein’s Deli/Restaurant – 435 Hartford Tpke.; Rockville Bank – Lafayette Branch - Hyde Avenue; Suburban Subaru – Route 83; Vernon Police Station – Route 30 and West Road; Vernon Public Safety & Ambulance Complex – 280 West Road; Vernon Town Hall – Park Street. Toys will be collected through Dec. 15. Distribution to families who have pre-registered with Hockanum Valley will be completed on Dec. 17 after 7 p.m. Financial donations can be sent to: Vernon Volunteer Firefighters Association, Inc., P.O.
