Adopt-a-family

Community Health Resources is seeking community support for its annual holiday Adopt-A- Family program. CHR is a leading non-profit, behavioral health provider in Central and Eastern Connecticut committed to providing a wide range of high quality mental health and substance abuse services to children, adults and families. CHR’s Adopt-A-Family Program will match families in its system to organizations, families and individual community members who would like to do their part in making make the holidays a little more special for those in need. Those who participate in the program will be provided with wish lists from a designated family consisting of simple items that these families could otherwise not afford. A set of instructions and guidelines will be provided once you have been assigned to a family. Monetary donations to the Adopt-A-Family Program are also welcome to help purchase much needed items for the adult clients in the residential programs.
