Auditions for the Somers Village Players production of "The Ladies Man" by Charles Morey will be held at Millpond Playhouse, 55 School St., Somersville, on Jan. 9 from 7 to 8 p.m. Readings may be prepared (no more than two minutes). Readings from the play will be provided. There are parts for four men and four women of various ages. The show is freely adapted from the "French Tailleur Pour Dames" by George Feydeau. It is a fast-paced farce with mistaken identities, near misses and wild coincidences. The hilarity is set in Paris in the early 1900s.
