Strengthening families

NORWICH- Norwich Youth and Family Services and the UCONN Cooperative Extension are sponsoring "Strengthening Families," a nationally and internationally recognized parenting and family-strengthening program. SFP is an evidence-based family skills training program found to significantly reduce problem behaviors, delinquency, and alcohol and drug abuse in children and to improve social competencies and school performance. This program is especially effective for kids soon transitioning to middle school and early middle school! Build your relationships now! Seven 2.5 hour sessions beginning in January will meet from 5-7:30 p.m. foer parents with children ages 10-14 (parents and children together). Dinner is served. Limited space available.
