KILLINGLY- The Killingly Historical Center Museum has a new display consisting of cameras from our collection. This collection includes-Polaroid Land Camera, Big Shot and Polavision Instant Replay; Kodak Duaflex II and Colorburst 250. Other cameras are Bell & Howell One-Nine, AGFA B2, Imperial Mark XII Flash, Hallmark Insta-Load, Unicum by Bausch & Lomb, Brownie, Berkey Keystone, Olympus and Anscoflex II. The museum is open Wed. and Sat. 10-4 and there is no fee. Now available is Wayne Magao's second book "Killingly Keepsakes" and "The Blumenthals in Danielson" by Natalie Coolidge. Please keep the Historical Society in mind when Christmas shopping for that history buff in your family. A membership is a gift that would keep on giving the whole year through or get a gift certificate, available in any amount, and let the recipient choose a membership, book, or have our researcher help with your family tree. We also have the following books "Mills Along the Whetstone Brook", "Williamsville", "Dear Transcript"-letters from Civil War Soldiers, "Pictures on Memories Walls", and "Killingly Moments and Mementos". There are also pictures available of many buildings in the Killingly area. The Killingly Historical Center will be closing for the holiday season.
