Road race

COLCHESTER- The 8th Annual 5K Resolution Road Race, sponsored by the Bacon Academy Community Activism Class, starts and ends at Bacon Academy on New Year's Day. With a starting time of 10 a.m., (registration starts at 8:30 a.m.), the course follows Norwich Avenue, Pleasant Street, and Halls Hill Road, ending back at Bacon. Walkers are more than welcome. Pre-registration is $15, but people can also "walk-up" register on race day for $20. To pre-register, visit https://register.thelastmileracing.com/Search/event.aspx?id=16649. Forms are also available in the Bacon Academy Main Office. This race is professionally timed and there are ribbons awarded to the top three finishers in each age bracket. All proceeds from the race support Community Activism projects and charities. Please come join us and kick-off the New Year on the right foot!
